Keyword Search Examples:
Keyword searches allow you to find words and phrases in author names, titles, subjects, notes, and other fields. Keyword searching permits boolean searching, adjacency and proximity searching, and several truncation options.

Title Search Examples:
Enter as much of the title as you know, starting with the first word. You may search for the title of any type of item in the catalog
If you do not know how a title starts, but know some of the important words in the title, you may find it helpful to begin with a Keywords search.
This search covers titles of journals, not titles of individual articles.
Author Search Examples:
For individual authors, artists, or composers, enter as much of the name as you know, last name first.
For names of organizations or corporations, enter as much of the name as you know, starting at the beginning.
This search covers authors of journals, not authors of individual articles.
ISSN Examples:
Type as much or as little of the ISSN as you want, starting at the beginning. Punctuation is not necessary.
